THE HAGUE – State Secretary Gunay Uslu of Education, Culture and Science will involve the countries Aruba, Curaçao, Sint Maarten and the special municipalities of Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba in the return of colonial cultural goods.

Uslu wrote this to the Dutch House of Representatives today about the establishment of an independent committee that will assess applications for the return of cultural objects that may have been illegally brought to the Netherlands during colonial times and are now on display in Dutch museums.
