Good day all,
Something just was brought to my attention so I need to ask here.
Knowing all the discussion we’ve had about Councillady Buncamper-Molanus and her future with the party, specifically her running with us for the next election, why would we accept a five thousand plus dollar donation from her towards CPYP’s just completed softball tournament and allow her to open the tournament with a speech? Has there been a change of mind that I am not aware of or is something else going on here?
I am not happy about this at all, I think we should have better morals than this, it is completely unfair to accept her money, allow her to align herself with us and then pull the rug out from under her at the last minute. We are not sending a clear message to the public or to the Councillady at all. Matters like this is exactly why we should deal with the Councillady more direct and straightforward, if for no other reason that to make a clear statement. Incidentally, I’ve been fielding requests from her and her husband as well regarding DP logos and other information for her new website…. Whether she is good or bad for the party is one thing, but this treatment to her leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth.
