HI COMMISH,
WE MUST ALLWAYS REMEMBER “SMALL THINGS CAN BRING US VOTES, AND SMALL THINGS CAN COST US VOTES”
LETS ASK OURSELVES:
WHICH VOTERS OR GROUPS ARE UPSET WITH THIS GOVERMENT, AND WHY?HOW CAN WE EFFECTIVELY HELP THESE PEOPLE, AND GET THEIR SUPPORT.
-THE UNEMPLOYED. HOW BIG IS THIS GROUP? LETS ASK LABOUR OFFICE.LET LABOUR OFFICE ALSO PROVIDE US WITH A LIST OF AVAILABLE JOBS. THE PLACE MENT MUST TAKE PLACE OUT OF YOUR OFFICE. NO ONE MUST COME LOOKING FOR A JOB AND IS EMPLOYABLE, THAT WE CANT HELP.

-SOME PIECES OF ROADS WHICH NEED PAVING? EMERGENCY HOUSES IN DUTCH QUATER.MR.DOLLISON, ATLEAST PAVE THIS ROAD IN ANTICIPATION OF THE PAVING PROJECT.
-A MEMO TO THE SMHDF,MR.FOWLER STOP EVICTIONS UNTILL FURTHER NOTICE.Ramona’s idea: inventorise who has outstanding rent in the emergency houses and why, and what can be done? SEND THE MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT DOWN TO BELVEDERE ETC. AND DO THE MOST URGENT REPAIRS. SOME PARTS OF THE ROADS NEED ATTENTION.
MEET WITH WITU( CLAIRE ELSCHOT), NOT EXCLUDING FBE TEACHERS
-ARE THE TAXI AND BUSDRIVERS OK. LETS HAVE MR CLIVE HOOK LOOK INTO THIS.A VERY INFLUENCIAL GROUP.
-THE STUDENTS. ARE THEY OK. ANY ISSUES WE SHOULD HANDLE PRONTO? STUDENTS ABROAD?
-THE CIVIL SERVANTS. ARE THEY OK?
-HAVE YOU MET WOMEN GROUPS RECENTLY? are they ok?
-ENVIRONMENTAL GROUPS? SHADIRA…..
-DONT FORGET THE INTELLECTUALS. STRATEGY WITH JANET….SOON…
-WHO IS TAKING CARE OF THE OLD FOLKS(SR BASILIA CENTER….TAKE CARE OF LADY OVER THERE)
-HOW ARE DP’S SURE VOTES, THE BASE e.g. THE FRENCH VOTERS, WHO IS HANDLING THEM?
ANGUILLA VOTERS. THE GRASSROOTS MUST BE WELL MASSAGED IN PREPARATION FOR APRIL 20TH.
-RELIGOUS GROUPS-MISS SELMA BROWN NEEDS THAT PIECE OF LAND IN BELVEDERE FOR THE METHODIST CHURCH,. HEEL ERG BELANGRIJK….THIS HAS ALLWAYS BEEN THE OPPOSITIONS STRONG HOLD.COMM.ROY MARLIN MUST BE REMINDED…
-7TH DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH IN COLE BAY NEEDS THEIR ROAD PAVED. COMMISH LOUISE ALVEIST TAKING CARE OF THEIR MAINTENANCE I N ZAGERSGUT. RAMONA WAS ON TOP OF COLEBAY. HOW IS THAT GOING? THIS IS A LARGE GROUP OF DP VOTERS….

Any further news about the bus drivers? LL is digging himself in nicely with his stupid remarks in the press. I am getting tired of their childishness. I told him by phone yesterday in so many words that this sh– has to stop. Another crisis looming is the Methodist building in Belvedere. Toontje calmy told Briset in front of Theo that the church building has to come down, because they did not have a building permit and there is something with the land. Apparently it was designated for a sports field (get the connection?). How will we explain the congregation (including Mrs. Brown) that their $ 40.000,– raised in contributions will go down the drain. These guys just don’t get it, to use Obama words. Total disregard -if they even understand it- for the economic prospects and what these can to do our standard of living, a potential dengue epidemic. But no, it’s all me, me, me! I noticed that Eldridge is “weer in de pen gekropen”. When last did you touch base with him? I think I might have to do that Christmas home visit thing again. We had a good conference in the Netherlands. Lots of Antilleans registered and showed up. Calvin too is up here, trying to sort out matters with S4.
